When I spotted Essie’s “Master Plan” on the shelves of Duane Reade, I mistook it for their famously greenish-gray Chinchilly. Unlike the nail polish pictured above, the real-life version of Master Plan contains no traces of pink. Instead, it’s a soft downy gray perfect for those who favor subtle manicures.
